*** SAFE 10/21/16 *** SOMETIMES PET OWNERS JUST DEFY DESCRIPTION…..Take tonight…ZION’s former owner has dumped 10 yr old ZION and sister ZARIA because she has a NEW BABY and one on the way and her one room apartment is now too small?? Even though she clearly states that ZION is wonderful with kids….currently lives with a 6 month old and has been around children of all ages…she has also not taken ZION to a vet since 2006. Imagine visiting your doctor every 10 years?? Hopefully she will take her kids more often.
And look at all the great things about ZION…”Zion is described as friendly, playful, talkative, and affectionate with a low activity level. Owner stated Zion likes to sign during bath time. He likes to watch birds and squirrels from the window seal. He likes to be in his favorite spot when home. He likes to play with all kind of cat toys. He also plays with pipe cleaners and Q-tips. He was kept indoors only and slept in a carrier or on owner’s bed by their feet….His favorite treat is vanilla ice cream.”….ZION and ZARIA were found as strays ten years ago and now dumped as if they were never part of a family…..It is therefore no surprise that ZION is NEW HOPE rated because he is just terrified and confused about being betrayed.
ZION is heartbroken but can learn to love and be happy again in a new furever home. ZION is already NEUTERED…..PLEASE GIVE SOME THOUGHT TO THIS VERY WRONGED CAT TONIGHT AND OFFER TO MAKE HIM SAFE AND SECURE AGAIN (maybe his sister too). If you need help contacting a NEW HOPE rescue, email us at [email protected]
