02/20/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Woodstock and at the time she shifts away at the back and avoids contact. Woodstock presses up against the wall. Crawls into litter box and becomes immobile allows petting. Reaction to assessor: Woodstock does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Woodstuck does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Woodstock remains motionless Reaction to touch: Woodstock seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Woodstock is tolerant of this type of handling but very tense. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Woodstock was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices she relaxed a little. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. I was also able to pick her up and although she was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
