WINNIE AND KITTENS – A1119473, A1119474, A1119475, A1119476, A1119477
Safe - 7-29-2017 Manhattan
***SAFE 07/29/17*** MOMMA CAT WINNIE ALLOWS GENTLE PETTING BUT IS ON TONIGHT’S LIST ALONE WITHOUT HER KITTENS! Winnie and her 4 seven week old kittens were found in a yard by someone who was unwilling to keep them. Her kittens are 7-8 wks old and eating on their own. Winnie (mom) will need a place to decompress and relax. She is naturally nervous in the shelter and the ACC is not in the business of socializing cats. PLEASE GIVE WINNIE A CHANCE TO DECOMPRESS – FOSTER OR ADOPT HER BY NOON!!
**KITTENS MUST BE PULLED BY A NEW HOPE RESCUE**

07/23/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/23/17 15:50 Winnie A1119477 is a young female brown tabby DSH cat who was picked up along with her kittens; Wes A1119476, Wyatt A1119475, Willa A1119474 & Winston A1119473 in the finder’s yard earlier this afternoon in the Bronx. The finder stated they felt bad for Winnie as they believe she’s pregnant again and she keeps having litters. The finder isn’t able/willing to keep her due to having other cats (that were also born in their yard) and stated they couldn’t leave them there any longer. They stated they were able to pick up the kittens and place them into a box but Winnie was lured into a box with food as the finder stated she was too smart to go into a carrier on her own. During intake Winnie had a low body posture, appeared nervous in the box and was growling. I transferred Winnie into a cat den from the box she was surrendered in and wasn’t able to scan, collar or take her picture on the back drop.
