Comes forward slowly. Purrs and head butts. Allows petting all over. Calm and relaxed. Social and friendly.
Willie was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home.
Reaction to assessor: Willie was relaxed at the back of the kennel.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Willie purrs softly, head butts the kennel door then reaches out (with claws) seeking attention.
Reaction to cage door opening: Willie is calm and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Willie allows petting all over and purrs softly as he head butts the assessor. He’s calm, relaxed and appreciates attention.
Reaction to being picked up: Willie is a bit tense and looks around wary of his surroundings when held.

Willie interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
