WEDNESDAY – A1063916
Safe - 2-4-2016 Brooklyn
**SAFE 02/04/16** JUNE and WEDNESDAY are two frightened former pets whose former owner was a hoarder. That person brought a group of cats into the ACC so now, the shelter is putting them on the euth list cat by cat….. Perror has already been listed (and saved) but a happy ending is NOT guaranteed for the rest of them! JUNE is a neutered, EXPERIENCE-rated boy, WEDNESDAY is a spayed, EXPNOCHILD-rated girl, and both cats will be killed tomorrow unless a FOSTER or ADOPTER steps up for them tonight!

02/01/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Wednesday was brought in without information regarding her behavioral tendencies in her previous home. The finder reports she will not let anyone pick her up and will try to flee. She was very tense and nervous during her initial medical exam, but will allow handling. Reaction to Assessor: Wednesday was calm and relaxed upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Wednesday looks at the assessor and lip licks. She slowly shifts away from the front and wraps her tail around her body. Reaction to cage door opening: Wednesday retreats to the back. Reaction to touch: Wednesday was hesitant of touch and tries to avoid the assessor’s hand, but she does allow petting. She tries to shift away and is tense, but warms up to touch after some time. Reaction to being picked up: Wednesday was tense during pick up, but is calm when held. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Wednesday tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
