S: QAR. No cvd. Mild sneezing. Hissing and growling.
Eyes: Mucopuruent ocular discharge OU
Ears: Unremarkable AU.
Nasal Cavity: Mucopurulent nasal discharge
Lungs: Eupneic, moderate to severe stertor
U/G: Normal external genitalia. No discharge.

History: Webber was brought in by the colony caretaker stating that the cat has been losing weight the last month and appears to have in injury or condition in the left eye. She was concerned for his health and did not want to leave him in the colony not being cared for.
Subjective: Cat is Q/BAR
Observed Behavior – in feral den, ears flat, hissing and backing away. Sedated with 0.1mls Telazol IM, which provided adequate sedation for exam and vaccines.
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no

EENT: Eyes corneal scar OS, OD wnl. Ears – large amt dark waxy debris (pruritic), mucopurulent nasal discharge
Oral Exam: Grade 3-4/4 dental dz; missing most of teeth (halitosis); lower canines broken at gingiva; upper left canine broken at tip
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: male intact, both testicles descended
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, gum stuck in fur left hock (clipped out), alopecia and scabbing ears and neck
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: not performed
Assessment: Underweight, Moderate-severe dental dz, Mucopurulent nasal discharge (rule-out URI vs tooth root abscess vs neoplasia), Corneal scar OS (rule-out chronic URI vs trauma vs other), Otitis and dermatitis (rule-out parasitic vs allergy vs other)
Prognosis:
Fair-Poor
Plan: Move to ISO. Gave 0.42mls Convenia SQ on intake. Start Doxycycline 50mg/ml – 1ml (in food) q24h x 10d; recheck day 7 and 10. Cleaned AU and applied Tresaderm; will likely not be able to continue d/t behavior. Recommend rescue placement.
