Wako was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Wako makes eye contact but doesn’t come forward. Reaction when softly spoken to: Wako meows softly then slowly comes to the front seeking attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Wako is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Wako is calm, relaxed and allows all handling. He lightly head butts the assessor and purrs softly when pet. Reaction to being picked up: Mako is calm, relaxed and has a soft body when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Mako interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
