He was brought it because he had several wounds on his body, and this handsome guy is beyond excited to go to his forever family.

KNOWN HISTORY: Waffle was brought in as a stray, so there is no information on his behavior history of tendencies in a home environment. He was easy to handle during the intake process. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Observed Behavior – Allowed all handling. good appetite EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Waffle was lying down, calm and relaxed, and stretches once noticing the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Waffle scoots his body closer to the front while still lying down. After a moment, he gets up and rubs against the cage door, soliciting attention. Reaction to cage door opening: Waffle remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Waffle head-butts, leans in for petting, and starts to knead and purr. He continues to rub his head against the assessor for more attention. Reaction to being picked up: Waffle remains calm and continues to purr when held, but will leap back into his kennel when he is ready to be put back down. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Lively VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Sweet, Affectionate BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Waffle interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat can go to a beginner home.
