I am a male gray tabby and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 2 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/28/2016 from NY 10305, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-079608.

10/28/16 15:31 Finder did not have any interaction with animal as it was in a trap during intake but did state that the cat was meowing and swatting from the trap. Behavior during intake: Animal was meowing and hissing with a stiff body during intake. I was able to transfer from trap to den without any issues. In the den, animal kept stress meowing and hissing. I was able to scan for a mc and take a picture but was unable to collar due to behavior.

Twitter came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Twitter was fractious and did not allow handling. Reaction to assessor: Twitter is lying low in his cage. Reaction when softly spoken to: Twitter is stiff, tense. Reaction to cage door opening: Twitter remains stiff and motionless. Reaction to touch: Twitter shifts to avoid being touched, but allows petting. Reaction to pick up: Twitter is stiff and uncomfortable with this type of handling. Placement Determination: Experience No Child Twitter does not approach the assessor, appears tense and nervous, and allows limited handling. Twitter is exhibiting behavior suited to experienced cat parents with no children, and he may need additional adjustment time to a new home environment.
