History : owner surrender due to owner’s allergies Subjective: BAR Observed Behavior -shy but sweet, allows handling; eating canned kitten food Evidence of Cruelty seen – none Evidence of Trauma seen – none Objective BCS 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: mm pk, moist; CRT <2 sec; deciduous canines and premolars present PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: no murmurs or arrhythmias; eupnic with normal lung sounds in all fields ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: male intact; 2 scrotal testicles MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: not performed Assessment underage/underweight Plan rec’d foster care Prognosis: excellent SURGERY: temp waiver d/t underage/underweight
