Surrendered After 15 Years Due To Owner Moving — Please Help Our Loving, Sweet TRIXIE girl!
Trixie A1102232 – 15 yr. spayed brown tabby/white cat, OS:
Trixie is a spayed brown tabby and white. She was surrendered by her owner due to owner moving out of state. She was a gift from a friend and was with her owner for about 9 years. She was not taken to the vet within the last two years.
Trixie has lived with six adults and two children in her previous home. She is described as shy around strangers and will stay hidden in the home. She is relaxed around the children and tolerant, owner stated she will allow the children to pet her and she will lay there. She has not been around other cats or dogs. Trixie has never bitten another animal or person.
Trixie has a low activity level and likes to sleep and watch the windows. She had a hooded litter box and owner provided Fresh step litter. She had a carpet scratching post in her previous home. Trixie was taken to the groomers for baths and nail trims. She does not mind when she is lifted or placed in a carrier. Trixie is fed Alley cat dry food and is fed twice a day.
Upon intake Trixie was relaxed and walked out the carrier. She was collared, scanned and photographed.
Trixie is underweight, owner stated she still eats as normal and is fed twice a day.
Sweet old gal, appreciates petting and attention. Using box appropriately. Needs a loving home ASAP to enjoy her golden years in! Update: the old bean loves catnip! She really is a delightful lady, likes to say “hello,” and is otherwise a pleasant, easygoing sweetie.
