I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 01/21/2017 from NY 10454, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

Reaction when softly spoken to: Tracy grumbles and continues to hide in her hidey box. Reaction to cage door opening: Tracy comes to the front, but remains stiff-bodied and unsure. Reaction to touch: Tracy grumbles, but allows all pets and begins to eat her wet food. ENRICHMENT NOTES: The enrichment facilitator notes that Tracy seems unsure, but interested in soliciting attention MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: The medical staff notes that Tracy showed no aggression but did not like to be handled and kept trying to flee ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Somewhat Chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Independent RECOMMENDATIONS: [Overall placement determination] _x_ Experienced cat parent Tracy tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. 01/26/17 10:29 S: eating very well, able to urinate and defecate WNL, continues to be fractuous when handled O: BAR H EENT: no examined Int: shaved L side of muzzle with superficial scabbing CV: NMA, s&s pulses, pink mm Resp: clear lungs, eupnic Abd: tense, reactive on palpation UG: MS: ambulatory with pronounced hindlimb lamaness R>>L, BCS 4/9 Neuro: falling to R side in hind when walking A: spinal tauma vs other wound (healing) P: cwct px: good for quality of life 1/25/17 Hx: Possible HBC, wound on left side of face, lame on RHL +/- LFL S: Allowed initial petting of head, but hissed several times and wouldn’t allow further hands-on exam O: BAR-H, BCS 5/9, MMs pink and moist EENT: Shaved left side of face from zygomatic arch down to mandible, superficial scabbing. No discharge OU, AU, nose. H/L: No resp distress. Not able to auscult. Abd: pot palpated. M/S/I: Sternal recumbency during exam, sat up, didn’t move around.
