His right ear is extremely inflamed/swollen and he has a few ulcers in his mouth. Please help nurse Tortellini back to good health. He is a sweet kitten and would love to have a home. Right ear is extremely inflammed, more than from normal otitis. may be from dermatitis or surrounding skin or thermal injury. few ulcer seen in mouth but no uri signs. eating. Observed Behavior – bar, allows exam Evidence of Cruelty seen – n Evidence of Trauma seen – y Objective P = 100 R = wnl BCS 2/9 EENT: see above. injury/swelling right ear Oral Exam: few ulcers seen PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: emaciated, dehydrated, ear injury Plan gave 20 cc lrs, flushed ear , applied tresaderm. will keep in medical, tresaderm and clavamox daily Prognosis: fair SURGERY: Temporary waiver due to weight
