*** SAFE 01/19/16 *** TERRIFIC TOMMY THE BEGINNER CREAMSICLE NEEDS RESCUE ANGEL! Nine year old Tommy and his fellow gingerbread friend, Simon were sadly returned to the one place they thought they would never see again—the kill happy ACC. In fact, they just arrived yesterday and were fast tracked to the at risk list. He has lived with his former owner since kittenhood and the owner claims she can no longer keep Tommy after all of these years because she is moving to a home that doesn’t allow pets. Really? Hmm. Poor Tommy is underweight and may have a thyroid and a few other medical issues that should be checked out by a competent vet. Sounds Tommy’s former person didn’t want to take her loyal feline friend to the vet for the care he needed so decided to dump him at the shelter. Tommy is a typical orange boy—super sweet, loving and affectionate. He is hoping that a kind purrson will offer him a new “leash” on life and give him the love and care that he needs and deserves. Please reserve this fab fella online or let a rescue know if you can help. Transportation is available. Let us know if you can offer temporary safe haven—when you foster, all reasonable medical expenses are covered. Please open up your heart and home to this deserving gentleman. Make the call for terrific Tommy the beginner creamsicle (and his friend, Simon, too—if you can) NOW!!!

01/12/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
01/12/16 16:30 Basic Information: Tommy is a 9 year old neutered male who was given to his previous owner as a gift when he was a kitten. He was surrendered because his previous owner was moving to a home where she couldn’t have pets. The last time he went to the vet was 2 months ago. The two things his previous owner liked most about him were; he’s friendly and stays to himself. Social Life and Personality: Around children 0-7 Tommy is relaxed and affectionate and when he plays he is gentle. Around other cats he is also relaxed and affectionate and gentle at play. He has not been around dogs. Tommy is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. He has a medium activity level and can be described as playful, confident, talkative and independent. Behavior: Tommy has never attempted to bit a person or animal. When given a bath Tommy isn’t bothered, he’s never gotten his nails trimmed, he struggles if his coat is brushed. He enjoys being picked up and held, isn’t bothered if he is put in a carrier or disturbed while sleeping. For a New Family to know: Tommy used clay cat litter in an uncovered litter box. He liked to play with string; he used a leather sofa to scratch on. When his previous owners were home he would tend to follow them around and when he played he was gentle. In car rides he meows/cries. He ate both wet and dry Fancy Feast and at night he slept on her couch. Behavior during Intake: Tommy allowed me to collar him, pet him and take pictures without showing any signs of aggression.
