MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: Normal externally
Assessment: Overweight
Prognosis: Good
Plan: Recommend weight loss of 1-3 lbs

Just moved into new cage. Crouched on shelf, eyes dilated, tense posture. Stayed hunched in place when door opened, tolerated pets, remained wary. Sprayed feliway
Owner Notes:
Tommy is described as a couch potato. The owner’s favorite thing about Tommy is how lovable he is. Tommy’s favorite thing to do is sleep on the owner’s pillow above her head. When the owner is home, Tommy follows her around. Tommy’s favorite toys are balls. Tommy has been kept indoors only. Tommy sleeps anywhere. The owner feeds Tommy 1 can of Fancy Feast wet food in the morning and free feeds him a cup of Purina dry food during the day. Tommy uses an uncovered litterbox with crystal litter. Tommy does not use a scratching post.
