***SAFE 09/13/16*** TOBIN IS THE SWEET GUY THAT MAY BE DIABETIC… He’s a 12 YEAR old fellow who was discovered by the Finder 2 days ago but could not bring him to the shelter until today…how nice of them to make him wait just to be put on the “kill LIST!” So NOT! But, in TOBIN’S case, as much as it leaves a bad taste in one’s mouth, this guy NEEDED medical care…even the very LITTLE TO NONE that the ACC doesn’t give! But he been given insulin and is said to be eating GREAT and doing well! AND, this guy earned a TERRIFIC AVERAGE RATING! HE needs a full work up with concern about a low grade heart murmur and possible heart disease and to investigate whether he is truly diabetic or has stress induced high blood sugar. But FIRST, he needs a FOSTER OR ADOPTER. He just needs a chance to have life outside the ACC! Give him that chance today!

09/06/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/06/16 12:20 Tobin A1088723 is an older neutered male orange tabby & white DSH feline who was found in the yard of the finder’s residence in the Bronx. They noticed him around two days ago and wasn’t able to bring him in until today. They aren’t able to keep him and stated Tobin is friendly and allowed them to pick him up and place him into a carrier. During intake Tobin allowed all handling. He allowed to be collared and taken pictures of. Tobin was very affectionate and would rub his face/body against my hand, body and camera lens. He didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held at all and was placed into a kennel with ease.
