Hello, my name is Tiny. My animal id is #10058. I am a desexed female brown tabby cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 1 years 6 months 1 weeks old. – P
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 18-Oct-2017, with the surrender reason stated as poor choice – too many animals already.
Tiny 10058 is at risk for an upper respiratory infection (URI). Behaviorally, she has been social and affectionate and is suitable for an adopter with an average amount of cat experience.

Subjective: Meows, alert, walks around Observed Behavior – Allows all handling Objective BAR-H, MMs pink and moist, BCS 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted Oral Exam: Clean adult teeth PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female, lactating, engorged mammary glands, soft no masses. No vulvar discharge. MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally Assessment: Apparently healthy female cat, lactating, 5-month-old kittens Prognosis: Excellent Plan: Spay, adopt SURGERY: Okay for surgery 1088
S/O -QAR, less interactive than usual -mild appetite -soft sneezing, mild serous nasal discharge -eupnic A URI P move to isolation doxycycline 0.8 ml PO SID x 10 days mirtazapine 15 mg tab: 1/4 tab PO once recheck in 5 days
Pre-surgical exam, anesthesia, and surgery performed by ASPCA. Green linear tattoo placed lateral to incision. Start 0.42 cc simbadol 1.8 mg/ml sid x 3 days and 0.32 cc Robenacoxib 20 mg/ml sid x 3 days as pain management.

Tina had a very relaxed body, came out of her carrier on cue and allowed to be collard. She moved a lot and allowed to be placed in a kennel.

Behavior Notes: Tiny is generally well behaved and meows and cries when riding in a car because she is not used to the outdoors. She isn’t bothered if her nail is trimmed or her coat brushed or picked up and held or placed in a carrier or disturbs while sleeping.

ENRICHMENT NOTES:: Resting on bedding, soft eyes and body, looking around, alert. Lay in place when door opened, allowed all pets, no real response. Seemed disinterested.
