Tinker is a 13 year old Spayed white and blue domestic SH mix; she came to her previous family as a stray, and due to the owner’s sickness. Tinker has no known injures or health issues and has no recent vet history.
Around strangers Tinker is shy and will hide if the individual tries to approach. She has lived in a home with children of ages 3 and 6 years old; she mostly keeps to herself and is not playful. Tinker has lived with a male Yorkshire terrier she is very respectful but mostly keeps to herself and has no bite history.
Tinker is very timid around individuals that she is not comfortable around. Tinker does not like to bath and tries to escape out of the tub. During nail trim she tries to moves her paw away and cries. She enjoys being brushes but only like being held for a few minutes.
Tinker is described as mellow and shy by her previous owner’s and has a medium activity level and spends most of the day sleeping. Tinker is feed ½ can of Friskies wet food and dry food twice a day. She is Litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with nine lives clay litter. She does have a scratching made of smooth wood.
Upon intake Tinker was slightly timid however she allowed the counselor to hold her and give her soft pets on her head. The counselor was able to collar her and take a Photo.
Hiding in litter box in rear of kennel, facing back wall. Nervous, but allows petting all over, flinches slightly with the touching. Sweet cat that’s unsure, needs time to adjust. Gave some treats, sprayed Feliway, added a plush catnip toy and a new blanket to kennel, plus some fresh wet food. Beautiful cat, elegant markings.
S: The patient is stable. No vomiitng, diarrhea, coughing or sneezing. Overweight.
O: BCS 7/9, Euhydrated, MM pink/moist
EENT- NAF, no discharge.
Cv-Tyep 2 cardiac murmur, Synchronous and strong pulses.
Lymph-Normal size and shape
Neuro- Ambulatory in all 4
A: Cardiac murmur
No treatment at this moment
