Lying on top of kuranda bed, body and face tense. Pupils are dilated and ears are flat as I reach towards him. He moves forward to smell my hand and allows petting along his head and body while leaning in and raising his rear and tail into the air. Pupils remain dilated and he turns his head to give my hand a gentle head-butt. Sweet boy, appreciates attention once approached. Needs some time to adjust.

Tigger was tense and perched up on top his kuranda bed, watching the assessor with wide eyes.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Tigger lip licks and seems a little unsure of his surroundings. His pupils are dilated and he doesn’t get up or come forward when coaxed.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Tigger remains motionless.
Reaction to touch:
Tigger continues to lip lick and slowly turns his head away when approached by the assessor. He tolerates being touched and tries to avoid eye contact. He slowly builds up confidence over time and arches his back when pet along his body.

How is this cat around dogs?Tigger has lived with a 14 year old small dog , and is relaxed around her and does not really interact with her.
Behavior NotesTigger struggles during a nail trim and struggles when someone tries to hold him. He prefers sitting next to the person and having them pet him.

Behavior Notes:Upon intake Tigger was timid and was staring with whale eyes. The counselor did not collar him and his photo was taking inside the carrier.
