Now , unless it’s a cat- eating country, why couldn’t the owner just bring them? TIGER had been rescued from the street as a kitten and now, at 8 years old, he’s been thrown back into the proverbial street! He’s AVERAGE RATED and already NEUTERED so he’s ready to go! 09/20/16 09:59 BASIC INFORMATION Tiger is a black and white DSH cat that is 8 years old. Tiger was rescued from the street when he was just a kitten. The owner can no longer care for Tiger because he is moving to another country. Tiger has no known illness. SOCIALIZATION Tiger is shy towards stranger for a few minutes but slowly warms up to new people. He slowly approached and allows being petted. He has been introduced to children of all ages he is respect and relaxed. Around adult he is affectionate and solicits attention. He has never lived with dogs. But he lived with a female cat and they engaged in play together BEHAVIOR Tiger has never had a bath nor has his nails trimmed. But he enjoys having his coat brushed and being picked up. He isn’t bothered when picked up and walks into his carrier. He has never had a bite or scratch history. He always uses his hooded litter box that he share with a female cat. FOR NEW FAMILIES TO KNOW Tiger is described as friendly, playful and mellow. He loves to wake the owner early in the rooming and meows for attention. He loves to watch the bird through the window. His favorite toys are balls and wands. He favorite cat food is any brand of fish flavor wet of dry. He loves to play on the owner’s bed. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Tiger during intake was a bite fearful and attempted to flee. He allowed being collard, scanned and photographed.

As per previous owner, Tiger is shy around strangers for a few minutes but slowly warms up to new people. He has been introduced to children of all ages is respect and relaxed with them. Around adults he is affectionate and solicits attention. He has never lived with dogs but he lived with a female cat and was relaxed and playful with each other. Tiger shared a litter box with another cat and likes to play with balls and wand toys. His owners describe him as friendly, playful and mellow. He loves to play on his owner’s bed and likes to watch the birds through the window. Reaction to assessor: Tiger was relaxed on his blanket at the front of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Tiger slow blinks at the assessor and leans forward to sniff the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Tiger is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Tiger sniffs the assessor’s hand and allows petting all over. His movements are slow and he takes some time before he gets up. He leans in for rubs, raises his rear and appreciates attention. Reaction to being picked up: Tiger was a bit tense when picked up due to his girth but was relaxed and allowed all handling. Behavior Determination: Average Tiger interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
