This excuse is getting old. There are pet friendly apartments and people treat pets like a pair of shoes they can return to the department store. TIGER got along with a dog, and got used to using his scratching post. He is AVERAGE rated, and an all around good natured kitty! 08/25/16 17:31 Tiger is very shy and takes days to weeks to get used to strangers. Thewir are no kids in his home. There was a small dog in his home temperarily and he got along well with the dog and was not fearful. Tiger likes to scratch on furiture, once a carpet scratch post was bought he stopped scratching on furniture. He is great with using the kitty itter box and uses an uncovered box. Tiger enjoys being bathed, trimming his nails and being brushed. He does not much like being held and will try to run away before you even pick him up. He has a medium level of activity at home, He has a cat bed that he sleeps on and rarely seeks attention from others. He is an indoor cat. He is fed temptation dry food only. Tiger was nice during his intake, he allowed scanning, he jumped down and walked away but allowed councilor to pick him up, once placed into a cage he hissed when councilor tried to take him back out for picture.

Tiger’s previous owner reports he is very shy and may take days or weeks to get used to strangers. He has not lived with children, but was around a small dog temporarily and got along well with this dog. He did scratch on furniture, but once the owner bought him a scratching post, he stopped scratching the furniture. He doesn’t like to be held much and may run away before someone picks him up. Reaction to assessor: Tiger was calm and relaxed by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Tiger looks at the assessor with soft eyes. Reaction to cage door opening: Tiger remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Tiger was a bit hesitant, but accepts petting and slowly leans in and begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Tiger was tense during pick up, but remains calm when held. Behavior Determination: Average Tiger interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents
