03/10/16 15:55 BASIC INFORMATION Tiger and Kisses are mother and daughter; Tiger was a stray and was taken in by owner and was cared for 3 years, she had kittens and from the litter kept Kisses who is 1 year old. They were brought into our care center in the same carrier and are being surrendered due to owner having personal problems. There aren’t any known health or injury problems. SOCIALIZATION Tiger and Kisses are described as friendly, they play with adults gently. Have lived with a 12 year old and is respectful and gentle with them. They lived with another cat Ms.S (A1067241) and were tolerant of her. Has no experience with other cats or dogs. There is no known history of them biting another person or animal. BEHAVIOR There aren’t any behavior issues or any history of having litter box accidents. Tiger isn’t bothered when getting bathes, Kisses gets wiped down with wipes. They aren’t bothered when getting their nails trimmed or having their coat brushed. Enjoys being picked up and held and your able to place in carrier. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Tiger is described as being Quiet and Kisses playful both with low activity levels. Tiger favorite things to do is sleep and Kisses is giving Kisses and playing with necklaces. When home they will follow you around or keep themselves entertained with their toy balls. Mostly kept indoors, they were free fed wet and dry food. Litterbox trained it was hooded with clay litter. When they were scratching on the carpet post they were sleeping in it. Both will do great in family homes. During intake all handling was allowed to be scanned (negative), collared and photographed.

As per previous owner, Ginger are described as friendly, she plays with adults gently. Ginger lived with a older child. Ginger is respectful and gentle with the child. Ginger lived with another cat and she tolerant of the other cat. Ginger has no experience with dogs. Reaction to assessor: Ginger comes to the front of the cage soliciting attention When spoken quietly: Ginger stays at front and continues soliciting attention Reaction to door cage opening: Ginger remains soft & relaxed Reaction to touch: Ginger solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Ginger is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average At the time of the assessment Ginger was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Ginger is displaying behavior appropriate for a new or experienced cat owner.
