04/24/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/24/17 10:34 Basic Info: Tiger (nickname is Poppa) A0924370 is a 7yr old neutered male orange tabby & white DSH who was adopted from us 5yrs ago and is being surrendered due to moving to where pets aren’t allowed. Tiger was last seen by a vet in 2016 and currently has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Tiger is shy for a few minutes with strangers. He hasn’t been around other animals but was gentle, playful, relaxed/affectionate with the adult and a 6yr old that would visit the home. Tiger hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: During car rides Tiger will meow. He isn’t bothered by the following: being brushed or being put into a carrier. Tiger hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting, had his nails trimmed or been bathed (because according to the owner he doesn’t like it, he’ll either run away or move your hand away with his paw; also when he’s had enough of your trying to give him attention/affection). Tiger scratches on walls, sometimes furniture and doesn’t use his carpeted scratching post. He’ll come to you for attention/affection and the owner states when they leave the home Tiger will meow loudly for quite some time. For a New Family to Know: Tiger is described as friendly, affectionate, playful (at times) & talkative with medium activity level. When the owner is home Tiger follows them around. He’s an indoor cat who sleeps with the owner, plays with ball & mouse toys, eats dry Purina Indoor cat food 2-3x a day and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter within. Intake Behavior: Tiger allowed all handling. He had a soft body, eyes and allowed to be scanned (+), collared & have his pictures taken, however due to him attempting to run/jump off the backdrop his picture was taken inside his kennel. Tiger didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease.
