Basic Information:
Thor is a 2 year old unneutered male DSH that suffers from bladder issues. Owner has had Thor for a year but had to surrender due to moving.
Socialization:
According to the owner, around strangers Thor is friendly and outgoing. He has been around children from infant to teenagers & was always relaxed & respectful around them. Owner had another cat in the home & stated that Thor would love to play with the other animal & would even walk around the house meowing until he found his brother. Owner did not have any dogs in the home so behavior is unknown. Thor has never bit another animal or person while in the care of the owner.
Behavior:
Thor is nervous in the car in the beginning but then will fall asleep. He loves having his coat brushed. Owner has given Thor a bath a few times & stated that he was struggling to run away at first but then relaxed. Owner has never tried to trim his nails so behavior is unknown. Owner stated that Thor is easy to put into a carrier as long as you pet him while doing so.
For a New Family to Know:
Thor is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, and talkative with a low to medium activity level. In the home, he would either follow the owner around or stay in his favorite spot depending on his mood. He enjoys playing with balls, string toys, wand toys, laser pointers and catnip toys. Owner kept Thor indoors only & stated that he is litter box trained. In the home, Thor used both an uncovered and a hooded litter box. Owner had cat tree in the home that was made of carpet and rough rope that Thor loved to scratch on. Due to Thor having crystals in his urine, owner had to keep him on wet food only. Thor ate the brand Friskies.
