***SAFE 07/16/16***Oh my goodness! Have you ever seen such a cutie face?? This little nugget was brought in to the shelter system as a stray. He’s not even three months old and already his life is at risk. Thor has a big name to live up to..if he’s allowed to live. That all depends on whether or not he finds a place to be by tomorrow noon. He is Experienced rated and available on the public site. Please help Thor find someone to snuggle with by tomorrow. His life depends on it!

07/12/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Thor is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Thor was hiding behind the litterbox When spoken quietly: Thor continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Thor retreats Reaction to touch: Thor allows petting but remains tense Try picking cat up: Thor remains while being held Behavior Determination: Experience Thor was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
