SAFE 4/11/16 A volunteer writes: Her former owner describes her as friendly, outgoing, playful, and gentle. She doesn’t mind being brushed or picked up. Sounds good to me! This lovely young lady has a very sweet, outgoing personality, loves people and is very happy to get attention. She seems like she’d be a lot of fun to have adventures around the house with. I think she’d do great in a good range of family situations, she would love to share some of her happy attitude with yours.

Behavior Average:
The former owner states that around strangers Teetee is friendly and outgoing. Teetee has not been around children but around adults he is gentle and loves to play. Also, describes her as friendly and playful cat with a medium activity level.
Reaction to assessor: Teetee looks neutral in the cage when approached by the assessor.
Reaction to door opening: Teetee remains lying down on his cage bedding, alert with soft eyes, meowing attention.
Reaction to touch: Teetee leans into the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body.
Reaction to Being Picked up: She becomes antsy then jumps back into the cage.
Placement determination: Average
Teetee interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.

Basic information:
Teetee is a 2 yr. old spayed female domestic short hair mix. The owner surrendered Teetee because she is allergic to him. Teetee has no health problems and the last took him to a vet in February of 2015.
Socialization:
The owner states that around strangers Teetee is friendly and outgoing. Teetee has not been around children but around adults he is gentle and loves to play. She has never been around dogs or other cats so the owner has no idea how Teetee would react around them. Teetee has never bitten or scratched anyone.
Behavior:
Teetee has never been bathed, she does not mind having her nails trimmed. She does not mind having her coat brushed, being picked up and allows being placed in a cat carrier.
For a new family to know:
The owner describes Teetee as friendly and playful cat with a medium activity level. Teetee has never played with toys; she lives mostly indoors and sleeps in bedroom on a towel. In the home Teetee will follow the owner around and prefers to stay in same room as the owner. Teetee eats Nine Lives brand dry cat food and is feed two times a day. She is litter box trained and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Teetee had a scratching post made of cardboard and she would often use it.
Behavior during intake:
During intake Teetee was clam with soft body, she allowed us to scan (-) put on collar, photographed and placed in cat kennel.
