How is this cat around strangers?
When meeting the staff at the ACC for the first time he was friendly an outgoing. He allowed the counselor to pick him up and pet him with n problems.

During intake T’Chaka allowed the counselor to collar him and take his picture with no problems.

Your newly adopted animal is in treatment for an upper respiratory illness. The veterinarian is temporarily waiving this animal from the spay/neuter requirements of the City of NY until such time as the illness has resolved and the pet has sufficiently recovered. At that time, this animal must come into compliance with the spay/neuter requirements.

Observed Behavior – very sweet. Easily handleable. Did well for all medical handling and procedures
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no
Evidence of Trauma seen – no

R = eupneic
EENT: Eyes have serous d/c ou, ears clean, purulent nasal discharge bilaterally
Oral Exam: clean adult dentition but has oligodontia, no oral lesions noted
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic but has upper resp congestion
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: MI, 2 testicles descended
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, unkempt hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
URI with conjunctivitis
Plan: Continue to monitor while at BACC
Move to iso
Start doxycycline 10mg/kg PO SID x10d until 4/11 (first dose given)
Start erythromycin OU BID x10d until 4/11 (first dose given)
Start nebulization SID x5d until 4/6
Recheck day 7
SURGERY: temporary waiver due to URI
