FELV+, wound on thigh. Calm and friendly. At the front, very interested and curious. Rubbed against the bars, really likes treats. Stayed at the front, leaned and arched into pets. Very sweet.
Tasker came into the care center as a stray so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She has been social and easy to handle since arriving, though a bit timid. When interacting with our enrichment facilitator the day after intake, Tasker was calm and friendly, at the front of the cage, curious and interested in interacting. She rubbed on the bars and accepted treats. She leaned and arched into pets. The following day during her behavior evaluation she was initially a bit hesitant, but warmed up quickly.
Reaction to assessor: Tasker is sitting in her cage when approached.
Reaction to cage door opening: Remains in place, body soft.
Reaction to touch: Tasker retreats slightly when reached for, but quickly recovers and approaches again. She allows petting on the head and body.
Placement determination: Average
Tasker interacts with the Assessor, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
