TART – 8143 aka A1127100
Safe - 10-6-2017 Brooklyn
SAFE 10/6/17 This pair of gentlemen (TART & POP) were found in an apartment together and definitely need some TLC to help them feel young again! Though they’re currently housed separately, they might be more relaxed and may adjust better if they find placement together. Of course our main goal is to see these two senior sweethearts find loving forever homes that will dote on them as much as they deserve! Pop is a polydactyl fella who was treated for an ingrown claw, and Tart will need follow up care for severe dental disease. Both kitties are a little unsure of the shelter environment but allow petting and seem to enjoy gentle cheek rubs.
TART and POP came in together and both need new homes.

Sitting upright in back of kennel, ears forward. He makes eye contact when spoken to. Leans away as I reach towards him, then tolerates petting while backing away towards his portal, tail wrapping around body and eyes wide. He likes treats so I click and reward each time he comes forward or smells my hand. Leans in for a pet on the head by the end of the session, then backs away. Unsure, needs more time to adjust. Sprayed feliway.
