I came into the shelter as a aco impound on 20-Oct-2017.
Tachi is at risk due to bladder stones and will require surgery to have them removed. She has no known behavior concerns (Average determination).

Presented with bloody vulvular discharge, started on clavamox and LRS S/O no hematuria noted in cage, suspect she may be urinating on blankets QAR, hisses and growls when approached, does not allow handling no appetite with friskies but ate canned chicken very well no nasal discharge or sneezing OU: open and clear appears eupnic able to palpate abdomen quickly, feels soft and doughy; bladder too small to palpate A bloody vulvular discharge-r/o pyometra vs UTI vs FLUTD P continue clavamox and monitor for continued hematuria suspect UTI and/or mild stress induced FLUTD but cannot rule out open pyometra
Bloody vulvular discharge noted on intake, started clavamox; abdominal radiographs taken yesterday show one large radioopaque bladder stone S/O QAR, regresses when approached and resists handling moderate appetite no nasal discharge or sneezing OU: mild blepharospasm-may be behavioral large bloody urination in box resists abdominal palpation A Bladder stone-r/o struvite vs calcium oxalate P Simbadol 0.25 ml SQ SID x 5 days Onsior 0.2 ml SQ SId x 3 days Recommend cystotomy at time of spay Temp s/n waiver due to bladder stone
Hematuria, one large bladder stone; started on onsior and simbadol yesterday S/O -good appetite -hematuria in cage -QAR, slightly dysphoric on simbadol but much interactive today; allows gentle handling -mm pk, sl tacky -no nasal discharge or sneezing -OU: open and clear -eupnic -soft, slightly doughy abdomen A Bladder stone/hematuria P Continue onsior, simbadol Recommend cystotomy and spay after placement
Hx: Bladder stone, hematuria. On Clavamox, Simbadol, Onsior; Clavamox ends tomorrow. Today pt is alert, at the back of her kennel. She hisses at me when I stand in front of her. Good appetite this morning. Extend Clavamox for additional 7 days. Recommend cystotomy within that next week. 1088

KNOWN HISTORY:: Tachi was brought in as a stray, so there is no information on their behavior history or tendencies in a home environment. Her finder was able to approach her and handle her.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:: Behavior: tense, nervous during exam.
Cage Condition:: Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor:: Tachi was lying down in her litter box, calm and relaxed.
Reaction when softly spoken to:: Tachi looks at the assessor, and then looks away with her ears slightly tilted to the side.
Reaction to cage door opening:: Tachi remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch:: Tachi sniffs the assessor’s hand and accepts petting. Her ears tilt slightly sideways and she lowers her gaze, but she leans in for cheek and chin rubs and starts to purr.
Reaction to being picked up:: Tachi is a bit tense during pick up, but she remains calm when held.
