SAFE 5/12/17 TABITHA is a one year old beauty who was surrendered to the shelter because her owner was evicted from the apartment and the new place doesn’t allow pets.

Tabitha A1110586 – 1 yr spayed female brown tabby, OS:
Tabitha is an year old brown tabby. She has been living with her owners for 6 months. She is being surrendered due to her owners being evicted from their apartment and the place they found would not let them bring her along. She has no known health problems or injuries.
With strangers, she is extremely shy, often hiding from company for long periods of time. She loves to play with people’s feet and shoe laces. She has not lived with children, other cats, or dogs. She has not bitten or scratch a person or animal.
Her owners state that she has no behavioral issues. She loves car rides and will sleep through them. She has no reported litter box issues. She loves to jump in the shower with her owners and splash around. She also enjoys being picked up and held.
She is described as a friendly, affectionate, but independent cat. She is usually sleeping her her home, either by the window, or playing her her owners feet/shoes. She will follow them around when she wants attentiion or food. She also likes to play with stuffed mice. She was kept strictly indoors and was free fed dry food. She was given an uncovered litterbox with clumping clay. She used her horizontal scratching pad made of cardboard daily.

History : Owner surrender
Subjective: Apparently healthy female intact cat.
Observed Behavior – Hissing. Do not like anybody touching her mouth
Evidence of Cruelty seen – None
Evidence of Trauma seen – None

P = 160 bpm BCS 4/9
EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: NAF
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: Intact female
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
