06/29/17 13:39 Tabby is a 3 year old female brown tabby cat who was surrendered by her owner due to too many animals in the home. The owner stated that she has had Tabby since she was a kitten and she has no known medical problems. Owner stated that when around strangers Tabby is shy. tabby has not spent time around children or dogs so it is unknown how she will react. Tabby has spent time around other cats and she is relaxed and affectionate. When playing with other cats she is gentle. On the way to the ACC in the car Tabby was meowing. She has never been bathed nor had her nails trimmed so it is unknown how she will react. Tabby isn’t bothered when she is held. Owner described Tabby as friendly and affectionate with a medium activity level. Tabby likes to play with string and balls. Tabby was given wet and dry food. She is very much litter box trained and never has accidents. She is used to an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. She has been kept indoors only. Tabby scratches on a scratching post made out of carpet.

Reaction to touch: Tabby sniffs the assessor’s hand and was hesitant of touch, but she allows gentle petting and wraps her tail around her body. After a moment, she leans in for cheek rubs.
