06/26/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/26/17 10:09 Basic Info: Tabby (short for Tabitha) A1116384 is an older female Tortie DSH feline who was given to the owner as a gift from a friend 16yrs ago & is being surrendered due to the owner being evicted. Tabby’s last veterinarian visit was about 15yrs ago and currently has no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Tabby is shy for a few minutes. She hasn’t been around cats was gentle, relaxed, playful & affectionate with the adult, a now 18yr old and with a small breed dog that was in the home briefly several years ago. Tabby hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Tabby isn’t bothered by the following: being picked up/held, being brushed, being bathed (as long as you start off slow) or with being placed into a carrier. She hasn’t had her nails trimmed since she was a kitten nor has she been disturbed while sleeping/resting. For a New Family to Know: Tabby is described as friendly, mellow, quiet & affectionate with a low-medium activity level. When the owner is home Tabby follows them around. Tabby is an indoor only cat that sleeps on her cat bed, eats dry Friskies 2-3x a day & is covered litter box trained with clumping litter within. She scratches on a wooden ladder and doesn’t have a scratching post. Intake Behavior: Tabby had a soft body, eyes and allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared & have her picture taken. Tabby moved around quite a bit and made several attempts to run/jump off the back drop table which is why her picture was taken inside her kennel. Tabby didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease.
