Hello, my name is Sweet Pea. My animal id is #14360. I am a male gray tabby kitten at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 5 months old. – P
I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 22-Nov-2017, with the surrender reason stated as poor choice – too many animals already.
Sweet Pea is at risk for medical reasons. Sweet Pea has contract Upper Respiratory Infection which is contagious to other cats. Behaviorally, he has been social and appreciates all attention.

Upon intake, Sweet Pea was shy and his eyes were dilated. Sweet Pea was receptive to petting and allowed all handling.

Basic Information:: Sweet Pea is a 4 month old cat that was born to the owner’s resident cats. The owner is surrendering because she has too many cats at home. The owner has never been able to take Sweet Pea to the vet.

Behavior Notes: During car rides, Sweet Pea is quiet and sleeps. Sweet Pea is not bothered when he is bathed, picked up and held, put in a carrier, or disturbed while he sleeps. Sweet Pea enjoys being brushed. The owner has never trimmed Sweet Pea’s nails.
