Sunny remains social and easy to handle with her human caretakers, but please be aware that Sunny may be uncomfortable around other cats. Their previous owner reports that he kept his distance from the other cats in the home, but would display distance increasing behaviors when they approach him. Due to the described behaviors, we recommend Sunny goes to a home with no other cats OR into a multi-cat home with cat parents experienced with introducing new cats slowly and gradually over a long period of time.
BEHAVIOR SUMMARY:
Sunny interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
**Update**
Sunny’s behavior in the care center remains social and he is displaying behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents. He may need to warm up to his new home at his own pace. We advise future adopters to be prepared to allow him time to adjust to his new home and family.
