Yes here we are again with yet ANOTHER healthy adoptable kitten who is being punished with death because she is afraid!! SUNNI is a cute little girl and how do you expect a 5 month old baby to act if caged in a scary place? Well it seems that the ACC could not spare one foster to take and soothe the fears of this cutie pie, because it was much easier to just get rid of her! IS THERE A FOSTER OUT THERE WHO CAN WORK SOME MAGIC AND SWEETNESS WITH SUNNI! WE HAVE NO DOUBT THAT IN NO TIME THIS POOR FRIGHTENED KITTY WILL BE A LITTLE PURR-BUG!! PLEASE CONTACT A RESCUE NOW TO OFFER TO FOSTER OR ADOPT!!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Sunni attempts to hide upon my approach When spoken quietly: Sunni continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Sunni retreats Reaction to touch: Sunni moves away , tries to flee cage Try picking cat up: Sunni not tolerant of this type of handling, very afraid, tries to flee. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Sunni was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way before attempting flee. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
