I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/04/2016 from NY 11691, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

10/5/16 Recheck swollen lymph nodes O: BARH. Very social, friendly. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2s. ORAL: Mild gingivitis, calculus. INTEG: 1.5 cm x 2 cm irregular scabbed wound right lat. face. Multiple small scabs by pinnae and on dorsum of head. Pruritic ears. PLN: Mildly enlarged submandibular lymph nodes. A: Facial wound and scabs – may be due to self trauma. Enlarged lymph nodes – R/O secondary to facial wound/infection, FIV. P: Cleaned wound with chlorhexidene solution. Start Amoxi-Clav 45.7 mg/ml. 1.5 ml PO BID x 7 days. Good prognosis.

Sully was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Sully was at the front of the kennel looking out at her surroundings. Reaction when softly spoken to: Sully rises up, chirps then leans forward and greets the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Sully is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Sully chirps then rubs up against the assessor’s hand and appreciates attention. He allows petting all over, gives light head butts and is very vocal and affectionate. Reaction to being picked up: Sully was a bit tense when picked up but remains calm and allows all handling. Behavior Determination: Average Sully interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
