**SAFE 06/08/16** A DEADLY PATTERN IS PLAYING OUT ONCE MORE! SUGGA is a 6 year old tabby found as a stray in the streets of NYC. She’s been on her own and is not used to anyone caring about her. Strange the ACC would give her a name that sounds like “sugar” since they are such a sour place. SUGGA entered the ACC with another cat, JONA, who is also listed tonight….and that’s where the deadly pattern comes in. The ACC has a way of taking cats who entered their system together, placing them on different At-Risk Lists one at a time, and then finally killing them together the afternoon after they place both cats on the same At-Risk List! SUGGA and JONE have both survived the At-Risk List by themselves, but now that they have been listed the same night, history suggests that they will NOT get another chance! Sugga needs someone to speak sweetly to her and make her feel wanted. Please give this middle-aged gal a chance and apply to adopt or foster her tonight!

06/05/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Sugga was curled up with a tense body in his litter box. Reaction when spoken to softly: Sugga lip licks and his eyes become focused on all movements. Reaction to door cage opening: Sugga remains neutral. Reaction to touch: Sugga allows petting all over with a slow approach. His eyes are wide, dilated and flinches when he’s startled. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Sugga tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
