ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Sweet, Affectionate ENRICHMENT NOTES: 7/24/17 Resting in litter box. Briefly came out to play vigorously with pipe cleaner toy, then went back into cubby and fell asleep. Woke and became alert when door opened, eyes dilated. Lay in place, allowed pets, but remained tense. 7/25/17 Dozing in litter box. Woke and lay in place when door opened, soft eyes and body. Sniffed hand, allowed and slowly leaned into pets, extended neck for throat scratches, purred. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Storm remains soft and relaxed, lying down on his cage bedding during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Storm remains in place, soliciting attention, alert with soft eyes. Reaction to touch: Storm joyfully rolls over, purrs, kneads, and appreciates the petting. Reaction to being picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Storm interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
