STORM – A1083078
Gone - 8-4-2016 Manhattan
***GONE 08/04/16*** “I have no idea” was the response given to the ACC staff, when the person who had hoarded STORM and THUNDER was asked about their personalities. That person handed a total of 9 animals over to the ACC, then presumably went back to living alone with no furry friends for company. The shame of the situation is, these look like very nice cats, even judging by their crappy ACC photographs. Both cats have nice enough ratings that they can be adopted directly, or else they can be pulled through a NEW HOPE rescue. STORM and THUNDER deserve the chance to live as loved pets, with someone who understands their favorite things and seeks to discover more of them. STORM is a lovely girl, THUNDER is a handsome dude, and both cats are in very grave danger tonight. Please don’t let them be killed tomorrow, when they have such potential! Advocate strongly for STORM and THUNDER, tonight!

07/31/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Storm continues to hide behind her box (was hiding on approach) Reaction when softly spoken to: Storm continues to hide. Reaction to cage door opening: Storm remains motionless and does not respond. Reaction to touch: Storm hisses briefly, then hides her face and is immobile when touched. Behavior Determination: Experienced, no children Storm tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
