Reaction to assessor: Stark watches the assessor tensely from the litter box When spoken quietly: Stark’s eyes widen as she watches the assessor Reaction to door cage opening: Stark remains motionless Reaction to touch: Stark hisses and his eyes scan the cage for ways to flee Try picking cat up:Did not attempt Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Stark was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment she was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. Stark hissed but i was able to pet her and interact with her in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
