***SAFE 01/03/16 ***SECOND CHANCE FOR SWEETHEART SPOTTY–LET’S MAKE IT COUNT!!! SPOTTY IS A SUPER CAT WHOSE OWNER DUMPED BECAUSE HE BECAME ILL – OR SOMETHING – NOW THE ACC IS KILLING POOR SPOTTY BECAUSE THEY REALLY CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHAT IF ANYTHING IS WRONG WITH THE CAT!!! SPOTTY was given a N-1 healthy rating when his owner relinquished him to the ACC stating that he was sick. The ACC has it down that the owner was sick. Then we read on, and owner says SPOTTY hasn’t been eating, drinking or using his litterbox for days…..hmmmm…..Plus the owner stated that SPOTTY was never taken to a vet. But the thing this owner liked the most about her cat was that he was good company and sweet. So this head-butting, friendly boy allowed all handling and petting and sat for pictures for the intake counselor. When the assessor showed up however he wasn’t too sure of him so he gave him a tail flick and was rated for EXPERIENCED pet owners. But the real kicker is that the ACC ran tests on this poor boy, may have had broken equipment, and threw out some of the test samples before retesting – so rather than starting over like a normal vet would do, they just put poor SPOTTY on the euth list. So looking at their medical notes, we really don’t know what to make of it. SPOTTY deserves better and should be seen by a COMPETENT vet. It seems like this poor guy just got a bad rap from both his owner and the ACC. So now he faces death at NOON unless someone steps up to the plate and FOSTERS OR ADOPTS. FOSTERING WILL SAVE HIS LIFE AND GET HIM THE VETTING HE NEEDS TO DETERMINE IF ANYTHING IS WRONG. PLEASE HELP SPOTTY LIVE AND GET OUT OF THE ACC ALIVE. HE IS A SUPER CAT AND WILL BE YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND IF YOU DO!

12/27/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
12/27/15 14:23 Basic information: Spotty is a 6 year old male domestic short hair cat that was given to his previous owner as a gift when he was 2 weeks old. His previous owner surrendered him because of medical reasons. She has never taken him to a vet. The two things she liked most about him were; he’s good company and sweet. Social Life and Personality: Spotty was not around children, cats or dogs in her previous home. She is litter box trained and was kept indoors only. She has a medium activity level and can be described as playful, confident, mellow, friendly, affectionate and independent. Behavior: Spotty has never bitten a person or animal while with his previous owner. He’s previous owner has never attempted to give him a bath, trim his nails or brush his coat. He enjoys being picked up or held. He isn’t bothered if he is placed in a carrier or disturbed while sleeping. For a New Family to Know: Spotty used clumping cat litter in an uncovered litter box. She liked playing with balls and stuffed toys. She used a vertical scratching post made of cardboard. When her previous owner was home she would tend to follow her around and when she played she was gentle. In car rides she was relaxed. She ate both wet and dry cat food and at night she slept in her cat bed. Behavior during intake: Spotty was head-butting, and went in and out of her carrier easily. She sat for pictures and allowed me to collar her and pet her. She showed no signs of aggression.
