***SAFE 09/22/16***STEVIE, SLOAN, SONY AND SARGE ARE ALL 5 MONTHS OLD AND IN NEED OF A FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME! ALL are EXPNOCHILD because they are a little tense, except for SLOAN, who is AVERAGE RATED and friendly. SLOAN also has a right eye ulceration and cloudy ruptured left eye. If you can at least FOSTER these 4, it will give them a chance at LIFE! Also, vetting for all is free to the FOSTER! ADOPTION would mean that you need to shoulder the vetting responsibility yourself! EITHER way, give these four KITTENS a chance to LIVE! EMAIL [email protected] FOR RESCUE INFO NOW!

09/20/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Sony was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Sony was alert at the back of the kennel with wide eyes focused on the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Sony looks around at her surroundings and remains motionless at the back. Reaction to cage door opening: Sony remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Sony lowers her body and slowly shifts away when the assessor extends his hand out. She lip licks when pet along her body and actively tries to avoid contact. Reaction to being picked up: Sony is tense when held, lip licks and leaps away and retreats to the back of the kennel. Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Sony tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his or her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
