I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 02/16/2016 from NY 11365, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-047834.

Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Snoopy and at the time she was tense and slowly shifts to the back with low body. Snoopy is hesitant of touch ,fearful and unsure. Reaction to assessor: Snoopy does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Snoopy does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Snoopy remains motionless Reaction to touch: Snoopy seems indifferent to my presence and touch Try picking cat up: Snoopy not tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Experience At the time of the assessment Snoopy was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
