Smokie A1104335 is a 12yr old neutered blue DSH feline who was given to the owner as a gift from a neighbor 12yrs ago & is being surrendered due to the owner moving to where pets aren’t allowed and allergies. Smokie was last seen by a veterinarian in 2014 and currently has no known health issues/injuries.
Around strangers Smokie is friendly/outgoing. He’s spent time with young grandchildren and was gentle, relaxed, playful (when he wanted to play) & affectionate (at times) with them and the adults in the home. Smokie hasn’t been around other animals nor has he bitten/scratched any person or animal.
During car rides he’s relaxed. He isn’t bothered by the following: being brushed or being placed into a carrier. He hasn’t been given a bath, had his nails trimmed nor has he been disturbed while sleeping/resting. Smokie enjoys being picked up/held/pet.
For a New Family to Know:
Smokie is described as friendly, confident, affectionate/friendly, playful & talkative with a medium activity level. When the owner is home Smokie follows them around. He enjoys ball & mouse toys at times and is an indoor only cat that sleeps around the home. Smokie eats dry & wet Friskies 4x a day. He is uncovered litter box trained with clumping litter within. Smokie scratches on the walls and the mattress box springs; he doesn’t have a scratching post.
During intake Smokie was so sweet and allowed all handling. He allowed to be scanned (-), collared and taken pictures of. Smokie didn’t seem to be picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease where he made himself comfy on his towel.
