SAFE 4/2/17 A volunteer writes: Smokey doesn’t remind me much of smoke, since she’s a lovely, black and white tuxedo cat. She looks more like a New York City socialite, if you ask me, kind of a fashionista kitty. Smokey’s a bit on the active side; she pops right up when you come to clean out her kennel and change her litter. She turns round and round and round, and then she plops down and lets you give her chin rubs. Don’t try to get away–he’ll get back up and go round and round again. I bet she’d love to chase a birdie on a string, or anything that catches her eye. Couch potatoes need not apply to adopt Smokey. This girl needs a playful human companion, one who’s willing to dance the night away.
