I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 10/28/2016 from NY 10302, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

10/28/16 15:46 Finder did not have any interaction with animal as it was in a trap. Behavior during intake: Skype was running around the trap trying to escape. I was able to transfer from trap to den without any issues. In the den, Skype kept trying to run into the door. I was unable to scan for a mc, or collar due to this behavior.

Skype came to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment. Upon intake, Skype was nervous and did not allow handling. Reaction to assessor: Skype is hiding in his den. Reaction when softly spoken to: Skype growls, hisses from inside the den. Reaction to cage door opening: Skype growls. Reaction to touch: Skype growls and avoids touch, searches for an exit. Placement Determination: New Hope Only Skype does not approach the assessor and does not allow handling. Skype is exhibiting behavior suited to rescue partners.
