06/09/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/09/17 15:13 Basic Info: Skye A1114737 is a female black DSH cat who was taken in as a stray 2-3mths ago while pregnant and is being surrendered along with her kittens: Sarita A1114738, Scotty A1114739, Sierra A1114740 & Shelby A1114741 due to the family being very allergic to them and too many pets. They’ve never been to a veterinarian & currently have no known health issues/injuries but the family does have diarrhea. Socialization: Skye is friendly/outgoing with strangers. She hasn’t been around dogs but was gentle, playful, relaxed/affectionate with the adults, her kittens & two teens in the home. Skye hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: During car rides Skye will meow sometimes. She isn’t bothered by the following: being brushed, bathed or being put into a carrier. Skye hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting or had her nails trimmed. For a New Family to Know: Skye is described as friendly, affectionate, playful & quiet with medium-high activity level. When the owner is home Skye follows them around sometimes. She’s an indoor cat that sleeps around the home, eats dry & canned Friskies cat food 2-3x a day, uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter within and scratches on the couch or sometimes wall; she doesn’t have a scratching post. Intake Behavior: Skye allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared & have her pictures taken although it took several tries as she’s very active and made several attempts to jump off the back drop table. Skye allowed me to bathe her as she was quite dirty without any concerning behavior issues and was then picked up/held (which she didn’t seem to mind at all) and was placed into a kennel with ease. Skye is one smart cookie as she got her kennel door open 3x times and roamed around calmly.
