KNOWN HISTORY: Skye was brought into our care center as a stray, so there is no known history available. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Likes people to rub his face. Alert. Do not tries to flee ENRICHMENT NOTES: 05/17/17 Comes to front of kennel as I approach, alert and making eye contact. Allows all petting, leaning in with tail raised. Plops over onto his side and rolls around kennel with continued petting, reaching out towards me with paws and kneading the air. Lets me pet him all over, remaining soft. Doing well! 05/18/17 At front of kennel as I approach, vocalizing. He rolls over onto his side and reaches out towards me with soft paws when spoken to. Allows all petting, leaning in with his tail raised and flopping back over onto his side to roll around. Very friendly! Doing well. Good appetite – ate all treats given. 05/19/17 Social and friendly. Consistent behavior. Comes forward to greet. Purrs softly & rubs up for attention. Sweet little guy. Rolls over on his side and nuzzles against my hand. Incredibly affectionate. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Skye makes eye contact as the assessor approaches, eyes soft and body relaxed. Reaction when softly spoken to: Skye rolls over onto his side when spoken to Reaction to cage door opening: Skye remains soft and relaxed in the front of the kennel as the cage door opens Reaction to touch: Skye allows petting along his head and body, rolling over in his kennel and kneading the air. He stands up with his tail raised with continued petting. Reaction to being picked up: Skye allows pick-up while purring, body slightly tense. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Lively VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Affectionate, Bold BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Skye has shown consistent friendly and social behavior while in our care center and has allowed all handling by staff. The behavior team believes that Skye go to a home with beginner cat parents.

Evidence of Cruelty seen – NAF Evidence of Trauma seen – NAF Objective P =170 bpm BCS 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: naf PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: intact male MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment apparently healthy Plan No treament at this time Prognosis: excellent Temperorary waived for surgery due to DOH.

05/23/17 Sneezing noted during rounds. S/O: BARH. At front of cage, very social. Eating well. EENT: Multiple episodes of sneezing, mild serous nasal discharge. H/L: RR=24, no dyspnea. A: URI. P: Move to iso. Rx Doxycycline 50 mg/ml. 0.8 ml Po q 24 hours x 10 days. Excellent prognosis.
