I came into the shelter as a stray on 06-Dec-2017.
Sisgo was placed at risk due to her medical condition, she has a fracture pelvis and will benefit from placement outside the shelter. This cat can go to a beginner home.

Scan negative BAR, moderate dehydration AMBx2 (lameness on hind legs) Very nervous, attempted to flee, allowed some handling through net Female~3yrs Underweight Possible old pelvic fracture slight pedal reflex as per Dr.0844 administered 0.3ml Simbadol SQ 50ml LRS Transport for rads
DVM Intake Exam Estimated age: ~3yrs Microchip noted on Intake? No History : Stray Subjective: BAR. ~5-8 dehydration (SQF still present) Observed Behavior – Will flee, calm in net Evidence of Cruelty seen – no Evidence of Trauma seen – no Objective P = WNL R = WNL BCS 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Mild dental staining, upper right canine loose and pushed rostrally PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female MSI: Ambulatory x 4, hind limbs completely splayed when ambulating with significant lameness, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: Left sided pelvic fracture Plan: Continue with simbadol 0.3ml SQ q24 x 3 days. Rec consult with orthopedic surgeon for pelvis repair, unlikely to heal sufficiently with cage rest Prognosis: Fair SURGERY: Permanent waiver due to pelvic fracture
Lateral and VD pelvic: Complete fracture of pubic symphysis, left SI luxation – significant cranial displacement; possible incomplete fracture of wing of ilium
Monitor condition – left sided pelvic fractures S/O: BARH. Appeared attention seeking, allowed to be pet briefly then started low growling. Excellent appetite. Normal urine. No stool seen EENT: Eyes clear, no ocular or nasal discharge HL: No sneezing INTEG: Unkempt MS: Ambulatory x 4 with severe hind end lameness, splayed hind limbs UG: Female A: Left sided pelvic fractures P: Continue with pain management. Injuries will likely require surgical repair. Fair prognosis with appropriate care and management
Left sided pelvic fracture, monitor condition S/O: BAR. ~5% dehydration. Eating well. Resting comfortably in cage, kneading, allowed handling today (petting, brief exam). Normal urine and stool in litter EENT: Teeth clean, right upper canine displaced slightly rostrally with mild gingivitis in that area and minimal tartar on that tooth, no ocular or nasal discharge, pink mm HL: No sneezing, normal RR/RE INTEG: Slightly unkempt MS: Ambulatory x 4 with severe hind end lameness, stiff, splayed posture UG: Female A: Left sided pelvic fractures – doing well P: Continue with current treatment and monitoring plan. Rec consult with orthopedic surgeon with placement

KNOWN HISTORY:: Sisqo was brought in as a stray, so there is no information on their behavior history or tendencies in a home environment.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:: Very nervous, attempted to flee, allowed some handling through net.
ENRICHMENT NOTES:: 12/07/17 Lying in back of kennel with a tense body. Makes eye contact when spoken to, eyes wide. Shifts away from my hand when I reach towards her. Limited interaction due to injury. 12/08/17 Lying down on her side and making biscuits. Her ears perk up and she becomes alert when I open the door. She sniffs my hand and accepts petting. Displaying conflicted behavior- rolls around and solicits attention but grumbles throughout the interaction. Very affectionate- she walks around and allows petting all over her body. Tail quivers a bit when touched along her back.
Cage Condition:: Cage is neat
Reaction to assessor:: Sisqo was lying down, resting upon approach.
Reaction when softly spoken to:: Sisqo wakes and picks his head up, looking around.
Reaction to cage door opening:: Sisqo remains soft and relaxed and meows.
Reaction to touch:: Sisqo head-butts, arches his body, and leans in for rubs. He purrs and kneads throughout the interaction.
Reaction to being picked up:: Sisqo allows handling, but grumbles (may be due to pain).
